Guide on 'How to Blog'



So, what is blogging? I'm pretty sure 9 out of 10 of you have probably heard of bloggers ranging from fashion bloggers, lifestyle bloggers, food bloggers and so on. Generally, blogging allows bloggers to write different articles about their specific blogging fields and as well to share useful knowledge with people around the world, or at least, in the world of the internet! 
      
Today, I will be giving a few basic tips on 'How to Blog' if you are someone who wants to pursue online blogging as a career. 



Tip 1 - Select a creative domain for your blog. 

People are often attracted to creative names for blogs. Avoid choosing boring names such as your full name, unless you have a really unique name or nickname. For example, Cheeserland. 


Ringo Tan, better known as 'Cheeserland', is a famous Malaysian blogger who shares about her lifestyle with her readers. She started her online blogging career since 2004 till today. As she often blogs about travelling experiences, she attracts a lot of readers because she provides useful insiders that readers should take note of. 



Tip 2 - Decide what you want to blog about. 

Try blogging about something with plenty of room for discussions. This will attract readers to share their opinions with you by leaving comments on your posts. This promotes communication for people around the world, allowing them to connect with one another easily. Hence, this also creates a sub-platform for people who are interested in making friends. 




Tip 3 - Blog consistently!

Create an outline on what you are planning to blog about in the near future. Publishing blog posts consistently and making sure the content interests viewers will attract readers to keep visiting your blog. However, if you stop blogging in between, readers might be tired of waiting for your next posts and thus, they are more likely to 'forget' about you. 


In conclusion, it is very simple to start a blog of your own today. It is definitely a very good first step to establish your online platform and also to build network.
